_Databaseproject: The way we see itlocation: London date: 2005-01-01 info: The Way We See It came into existence in 2005 with two main purposes. The first was to show off the incredible diversity of the wonderful city we live in and to show some of the lesser known, yet interesting parts of it. Secondly it was an exercise in seeing how different photographers viewed the same place - what they saw, how they interpreted it, how it affected them and their images. Every week a new location is chosen - participants then have two weeks to go out and photograph this location and submit up to three of their best images. At the end of this period all the photographs are made available to view online. The locations vary from streets with fascinating histories, interesting architecture or just some hidden charm. TWWSI has visited buildings and even a fair - anything that the great city of London has to offer. Suggestions for locations are gladly received just email locations[AT]london.thewayweseeit.org giving a short description of why you think the location is suitable. TWWSI is open to all - if you make the effort to go and visit one of our locations then we want to see your pictures and will post them live! http://london.thewayweseeit.org/ |
